Ser brasileira, como a grande maioria, é um orgulho, é saber viver com o pouco material e com o muito espiritual, é ter a alegria de viver, a força para trabalhar, fé para alcançar, ginga para dançar e o privilégio de poder surfar.
Moro num país rico em recursos naturais, como minérios, fauna e flora, principalmente na sua grande mata atlântica e amazônica , na costa é possível termos o mais profundo contato natural, principalmente no mar, com as ondas, surfando. Acredito que o surfe é algo muito além de um simples esporte é também algo espiritual, onde descer de uma onda se sente na alma, no espírito e também no corpo. É como “lavar a alma”, esquecendo de coisas desagradáveis e apenas se sentindo bem. Mas como a vida não é somente surfe, infelizmente temos que conviver com o indesejável, algo que afeta não somente surfistas, mas os cidadãos comuns: A corrupção, algo que se eu pudesse a exterminaría, pois é a partir daí que se geram todos os outros problemas, não só os sociais mais algo muito pior, os AMBIENTAIS.

It really doesn't help when people lose hope.
Yes, there are many bad things out there. But if you are crying about them, you are probably not fighting them. You are certainly not transcending them.
You know by now that I love famous people who use their place in the light, shining it on those suffering in the dark. One of my heroes is Bono. He is asking everyone to use their voice, to sound their dreams. You don't even need to be famous. You just need to find your wings.
He says, "Every year, global leaders attend the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, to discuss how to better the world."
Bono thinks you might have something to add. He is asking people to go to YouTube and answer the question:
"What one thing do you think that countries, companies or individuals must do to make the world a better place in 2008?"

Treat yourself to a moment. Life is too short to stress out. I hate it when people say they are busy. Busy busy, this is the bane of modern life. If you are so busy, how can you even think?
I wonder what would happen if everything just stopped. Like no electricity for a week.
