Welcome to the New Paradigm We are the Twelve. As clan leaders in the Transcendent Nation, it is our responsibility to provide a focus for the new paradigm. Recent events have driven the Twelve undercover and underground. In order to maintain anonymity, we have been forced to communicate through aliases and virtual avatars. The common purpose of these blogs is to save the world. There are many ways to make a difference. The climate crisis faced by the world today is forcing humankind to reevaluate its current way of life. But the climate crisis is not just external. It is also about consciousness. As consciousness changes, the world will change. If enough people wake up, the whole world will wake up. It is time to join forces and gather the 144,000.

How many years can some people exist before they're allowed to be free? How many times can a man turn his head, pretending he just doesn't see?
The cycle is intensifying. In times of great distress it is helpful to look at the horizon, not down at the ants biting one’s legs.
We’re trying to establish a Transcendent Nation. This is about realizing that fighting over pieces of earth and dominating other people’s belief systems is outmoded. This is a chance to see through duality in a most practical way. This is not about Chinese and Tibetans, old and young, but a unified humanity. |

I recently exited my lair to check out a lecture by the guru of GNU, Professor Richard Stallman. Now this is a rare person, someone who is so clearly beyond caring what people think of him that he can stand perfectly true to his principles. As an introduction to who he is, and what I’m talking about here, this is the main author of the GNU General Public License and the Hacker’s Dictionary, the developer of the original Emacs editor, an innovator in AI truth maintenance, and the president of the Free Software Foundation (FSF).
Hearing him talk, I was impressed.

It really doesn't help when people lose hope.
Yes, there are many bad things out there. But if you are crying about them, you are probably not fighting them. You are certainly not transcending them.
You know by now that I love famous people who use their place in the light, shining it on those suffering in the dark. One of my heroes is Bono. He is asking everyone to use their voice, to sound their dreams. You don't even need to be famous. You just need to find your wings.
He says, "Every year, global leaders attend the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, to discuss how to better the world."
Bono thinks you might have something to add. He is asking people to go to YouTube and answer the question:
"What one thing do you think that countries, companies or individuals must do to make the world a better place in 2008?"

Do they even know what they are doing—the liars, thieves, and murderers who hold our fate in their hands?
How long have these goblins been preparing their machinery of soul killing? In the last century, they came to the surface like never before, with their gunnery and warmongering, their machinery of mass killing, covering murderous intent with pseudo-patriotic babble about Motherland and future…

I am writing this from retreat where I have been for the past months, working under the direction of my teacher. As much as activity in the world is important, it is equally important to spend time focusing on one's own spiritual evolution.
The first 'vehicle' of Buddhism teaches personal awakening. The second vehicle, the "great vehicle" of Mahayana, encourages people to work for others. There are many stories in this tradition of bodhisattvas who vow not to attain the final cessation of nirvana until all beings have awakened. Bodhisattvas are very special, enlightenment heroes who have already achieved strong realization and are willing to even sacrifice themselves in order to save others--knowing that they will be able to continue the work in another life. The third vehicle of Buddhism is the "lightning path", or Vajrayana, which uses the advanced technology of tantra to achieve results within a single lifetime.
