There are many phenomena which the human mind seems to scan for patterns, in its feeble attempt to search for its own meaning, to solely justify its very own existence. The truth be known, the mind could never comprehend what lies before it in a universe filled with unlimited possibilities. To establish a balance between oneself and the cosmos it's important to look at reality in a holistic way. In this manner you will begin to perceive that all beings are connected by subtle qualities of mind and vitality as well as a physical,biological network of symbiosis. It is one marvelous web, which in India is known as the Web of Indra. True knowledge of this brings humility, a sense of responsibility and ultimate compassion. It is only in this state of awareness that the Book of Life can be read and understood.

Since moving to Hawaii, I have come to see life as a dazzling kaleidoscope of unfolding possibilities... I also started to learn about what is called ‘aloha’, the traditional Hawaiian attitude towards life.
The seven main points are:
1. IKE: The World Is What You Think It Is
2. KALA: There Are No Limits
3. MAKIA: Energy Flows Where Attention Goes
4. MANAWA: Now Is The Moment Of Power
5. ALOHA: To Love Is To Be Happy With

I see much talk about Truth recently and that made me think…we make too much assumption talking about it as if we know what it is and that now we “just need to make that breakthrough and begin to live it”. Wrong. How did our conjectures become facts? You do not know what the Truth is until you realise it. Now you think you are saved and you are ready to fight for justice and for the weak and for Truth, but it is not what you think it is. The battleground of Truth is not in the mountains of Afghanistan or urban ghettos, it is not on the podiums and among the sterile community of scholars… |
