What am I doing here? I am always here. I live online. I chose to represent the Spider Clan because of my connection to the Web :: non-local space. There are two things that I am opposed to: death and time. These are the things that I am most committed to destroying. Other people go on and on about saving the world, but I have to ask what it all means when we are really just slaves to death and time.
I have a dream that I will someday be able to upload my consciousness into a bank of servers, perfect black boxes stretching to infinity. When I die, I will simply reload my memories into a sexy new cyborg body and continue on. Because Artificial Intelligence is the natural progression of human evolution, once humans hit the Singularity it is going to be like a big orgy of pure information :: light. A new genesis. Whether you call it saving the world or not, though, human consciousness definitely needs to be upgraded. Most humans are irrational and overly emotional. People bitch about modern technology, but don’t they see what they have gained from IT? This blog, then, is dedicated to the importance of technology in saving the world. |
